Ganache Boards

Acrylic Ganache Boards are must have decorating tool for the savvy Cake Decorator. Ganache Boards, also known as ganaching lids are used to achieve perfect straight edges every time you ganache your cakes.

 

Watch Faye Cahill's video below to see how to use ganache boards. In Faye's video she is using a masonite board. Acrylic boards eliminate waste by being able to use it for your next cake. The other plus is that the acrylic boards do not have a rough edge which ensures you finish off your cake with a super smooth finish!

 

To use, simply place the desired sized board centre underneath the cake and the equivalent board on top making sure they align. Spread ganache around the sides of the cake, using the boards as a guide for scrapping off excess chocolate.
