The Easter Bunny called - it wants its Easter Eggs back! And if, for some convenient reason, they've gone walk about then perhaps, you could entice it with an Easter Egg Cake Shape Guide! Available as a single or in a set of 2, you can carve and shape your way to a rather egg-cellent cake topped with more easter eggs, buttercream swirls, chocolate pieces, and piped grass.
To use, wrap each board in glad wrap or cling film, cover it with a good, even layer of buttercream, place one on each end of your cakes, fill the sides with buttercream and smooth by following the guide with your scraper - it really is that easy!
For the harder to glad wrap shapes, like the scallop, there are a few other ways to release your template from your buttercream or ganache:
We recommend chilling your cake before removing the guides otherwise your buttercream may come off with the board.
