Acupuncture needles are ideal for helping to remove bubbles from underneath your fondant. The 0.20 needle will not leave a mark in your fondant due to its size. To remove an air bubble, insert the needle on an angle into the fondant to release the air. Smooth the area again with your smoothers or sharpies.
Always ensure that on completion of working with the needles, they are placed in a secure container. Always count the needles to ensure that all needles are accounted for prior to delivering your cake. Another handy tip is to place a blob of fondant on the work bench and insert the needle into the fondant between uses when making the cake.
