As coeliacs will attest it's hard to find a gluten free bread that has the taste and texture of real bread but this recipe nails it! This mix and recipe have been tested in the Lollipops Test Kitchen and given the tick of approval.
Gluten Free Crusty Bread Mix - 660g
Water - 528g
Vegetable Oil - 30g
Yeast - 9g
Pre heat oven to 220°C (fan forced)
Add water, oil, yeast, and bread mix into a bowl
Mix for one minute on low speed using beater or dough hook
Scrape down bowl
Mix for further three minutes on low speed
Divide and mould dough as required
Proof dough to approximately double in size (50-60 mins at 38°C)
Bake at 220°C until baked (roughly 20 minutes), with a dish of water placed at the bottom of the oven to create steam which promotes curst colour and sheen.
