Bakels Vegan Carrot Cake Recipe

Create a delicious carrot cake that everyone will enjoy using the Bakels Vegan Cake Mix and some freshly grated carrot.

Ingredients

1kg Vegan Cake Mix

310ml Water

240ml Vegetable Oil

400g Fresh Carrot (grated)

20g Mixed Spice

Method
  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees

  2. Add cake mix, water, and vegetable oil into a mixing bowl and beat on low for 1 minute

  3. Scrape down sides of bowl and mix on medium for 6 minutes

  4. Add grated carrot and mixed spice, mix on low for 1 minute

  5. Divide into 600g lots and pour into prepared bar cake tins

  6. Bake for approximately 50 minutes

  7. Leave to cool in tin and then upturn onto a cooling rack

Hints

Be careful not to overcook, cooking for longer at a lower temperature can help with this.

Cooking times vary for larger tins and cooking times vary with ovens.

Always grease & paper line tins.
