Ingredients

1kg Bakels Shortbread Biscuit Mix

550g Salted Butter

Method
  1. Preheat oven to 150 degrees (standard fan force)

  2. Cream butter until light

  3. Blend shortbread biscuit mix on low speed - DO NOT OVER MIX

  4. Roll shortbread dough out to a thickness of 8mm

  5. Cut desired shapes

  6. Place shapes on ungreased baking tray

  7. Bake at 150 degrees for approximately 13-15 minutes

Hints

- Cooking times vary between ovens, please adjust the baking time accordingly.   

- Over mixing can make your cookies spread during the baking process.

- To maintain freshness and best results cookies should be over-wrapped or bagged on the day of baking.
