The paints made using the Paint Powders and Activators by Sweet Sticks can paint on fat and oil based mediums such as chocolate and Swiss meringue buttercream. A little goes a long way - you only need 1/8 of a teaspoon Paint Powder and activator to cover a 250g block of chocolate!
Dust directly on to the surface of your fondant, chocolate or other medium using a dusting brush or mix with Paint Powder Activator to make a stunning paint.
The Magic Colour and Spectrum ranges create more of a watercolour paint when mixed with rose spirit, whereas the Sweet Sticks Paint Powders create a proper opaque paint when mixed with the Sweet Sticks paint activator. You are unable to use rose spirit with the Paint Powders as it separates the pigments, much like how using rose spirit with the Rolkem Concentrate range does. You need Quick Dry Essence for those 😉 The colours are also more concentrated than the Rolkem Spectrum colours and are great for dusting flowers with.

Drying time can vary based on what surface you are painting on, how thick the coat is and humidity levels. For a quicker dry time we recommend thin coats and avoid painting in high humidity conditions. Drying needs to be done by air drying. If not air dried correctly you may be left with an after taste. Be sure to have it touch dry before placing it into the fridge. When dry your surface will be rub free and tasteless.
It is not recommended to use your Paint Powder with rose spirit.
