Description

The Queen Professional Vanilla Bean Pods are full of an incredible aromatic flavour with hints of anise and cherry which will enhance your desserts and bakes. The Queen Vanilla Bean Pods are ideal for use in creamy desserts, infusing custards, cream and syrups. Simply cut down the centre of the bean pod to reveal the aromatic seeds inside. 

 

TIPS:

  • Stir vanilla seeds through whipped cream or marscapone.
  • Add some vanilla seeds to butter and drizzle over blanched carrots.
  • Pair vanilla with seafood such as salmon or scallops.
  • Rehydrate by placing in warm water for up to two hours before using.
  • In cold climates/temperatures white vanillin crystals may appear on the surface. This is perfectly fine as they melt off when warm.
  • Save de-seeded vanilla pod skins for adding flavour to warmed milk, poached fruit and syrups. Create flavoured sugar or salt. Or dry and grind to sprinkle on dishes.
