Moreish Cakes - More Wraps

Monica Cavallaro from Moreish Cakes has created the perfect More Wrap for even baking every single time. More Wraps will ensure you are able to maintain even baking temperatures inside your cakes when baking, therefore avoiding the crusty tops, surface browning, cracked tops and volcano/muffin tops. Best of all, this gives less wastage when torting and preparing your cake layers.

More Wraps are made using double density felt inside which makes them unique with a strong exterior fabric and thicker cotton lining will ensure a more even bake and will outlast the other wraps on the market. More Wraps is adjustable for a snug fit for each cake tin in the Wraps range, be sure to utilise the right sized Wrap for your tin not exceeding the Wrap tin size recommendations. 

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Select correct More Wraps size to suit your baking tin (using the sizing below).
2. Submerge entire wrap in water. Remove excess water by gently squeezing - do not wring out. 
3. Pour your batter into your cake tin.
4. Wrap your More Wraps around the outside of your cake tin, using the fastening belts for snug fit. 
5. Bake your cake as normal - we recommend reducing your oven temperature by 10 - 20 degrees and increase your baking time from 10 - 30 minutes depending on the tin size and batter quality.

Why reduce the temperature and increase baking time? Experience and testing has revealed a better bake, cake crumb and rise by following these handy tips. Mud cakes yield the best results baked at 140ºC - 150ºC.

56" (142cm) Long. Will suit Round 12" - 16" (30cm - 40cm) or Square 10" - 12" (25cm - 30cm) 

4" (10cm) High:

CAUTION:

Thoroughly saturate with plain tap water before use. Do not bake above 180ºC (350ºF). Ensure the belts are not in contact with any heating elements, flames or touching the sides of the oven. Do not overcrowd your oven.
