This two part class is a first for Lollipop Cake Supplies, two classes in one!
In the morning session you will be with resident fondant superstar, Karin who will teach you how to create you're own bunny figurine. After a short lunch break you will decorate your cake using buttercream with our popular buttercream instructor, Thomas who will take you through step by step to create the cutest cake ready for Easter fun!
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Session 1 - Bunny Head figurine modelling
- Simple modelling of a rabbit head
- How to get ears to stand up
- Using various cutters to make the paws
- Using plunger cutters to create little flowers
Session 2 - Buttercream Cake
- Stacking and filling cake layers
- Learning to crumb coat, gaining understanding as to why it’s important.
- Differentiating piping tips, when to use them and how to install them.
- Learning piping techniques, including piping bag grip.
- Colouring buttercream
- Covering a cake in buttercream, achieving a smooth finish
WHAT IS SUPPLIED?
- Everything you need to complete your cake
- Your completed cake in a cake box to take home
- A light lunch will be served between the two sessions
- Complimentary Tea / Coffee / Water

- Long hair is tied back for class
